Data collection, processing purpose and legal basis



In the event of inquiries on your part, orders or the conclusion of a contract, we collect personal data about you. This concerns among other things your first and last name, your address, your e-mail address and / or your telephone number. We use this data exclusively to fulfill our obligations arising from the inquiry, the order, the contract with you. For example, we use your address to send you the ordered goods, or your e-mail address to contact you.

Your contact data provided during inquiries, when placing orders, when concluding contracts or otherwise (e.g. business cards handed over or similar) are used exclusively for our own purposes to advertise our own products, services, or are also used to send you new, important information (e.g. offers, clarification of technical questions, product innovations, product announcements, product discontinuations, price adjustments, etc.). This may also take the form of a newsletter. You can object to the use of your e-mail address at any time at kontakt@burst-zick.com, after which your e-mail address will be deleted immediately.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the fulfillment of the contract with you according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DS-GVO. If there is also a consent from you, additional legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

Data transfer to order processors

In some cases, we use auxiliary persons for processing, especially in the areas of IT and accounting. These process your data for us as so-called order processors and are obliged to handle the data with care.

Other data transfers

We transfer personal data to external parties in order to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. We are legally obligated to transfer data to state authorities, e.g. tax authorities, supervisory authorities and law enforcement agencies. When transferring data to external bodies in third countries, i.e. outside the EU or EEA, we ensure that these bodies treat your personal data with the same care as within the EU or EEA.

Storage period

We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you. After our contractual obligations cease to apply, your data will be blocked. In addition, there may be legal obligations to retain data, for example, obligations to retain data under commercial or tax law (e.g. German Commercial Code, German Fiscal Code).

Cookies

Among other things, our website uses so-called "cookies", which serve to make our Internet presence more user-friendly, effective and secure - for example, when it comes to optimizing navigation on our site. In addition, cookies enable us to measure the frequency of page views and general navigation, but not in a personalized way. Of course, you can refuse "cookies" at any time, provided that you have configured your browser accordingly.

Your rights

Here you will find your rights in relation to your personal data. Details can be found in Articles 15-21 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

1. right of information

You can request information about whether your personal data is being processed. If this is the case, you can request information about how this data is used and to whom your data is / has been forwarded.

2. right of rectification and completion

You can request the correction of incorrect data. You can demand the completion of incomplete data.

3. right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").

You can request the deletion of your data insofar as the processing is not necessary. This is the case, for example, if your data is no longer necessary for the original purposes, you revoke your declaration of consent under data protection law or the data was processed unlawfully.

4. right to restriction of processing

You may request the restriction of processing.

5. right of objection

You may object to the processing of certain personal data concerning you at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. In the case of direct marketing, you may object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of such marketing.

6. right to revoke your consent under data protection law.

You may revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future. However, the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation is not affected by this.
